Early musical development, exams, studies and formative learning.

  1. Age 2

    Started playing by ear

    Alanna started to pick out melodies and cartoon theme songs by ear at two.

  2. Age 3

    Formal piano lessons

    Formal piano lessons began at three, giving language and shape to the music she was already exploring.

  3. Age 7

    Grade 5 Jazz Piano

    Alanna attained distinction in ABRSM Grade 5 Jazz Piano at age seven and was the youngest candidate to do so at that time.

  4. Age 7

    Grade 8 Piano

    Alanna attained distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 Piano at age seven and was the youngest candidate to do so at that time.

  5. Age 8

    DipABRSM in Performance

    Alanna followed the Grade 5 Jazz and Grade 8 milestones with DipABRSM in Performance at age eight.
